Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
This policy explains how the Stampo app and this website handle your information. Stampo is a camera-based app that identifies postage stamps and shows estimated value ranges. We aim to collect only what the app needs to work.
Photos you scan
To identify a stamp, the app processes the photo you take or select. That image is sent to our identification service and analyzed by automated AI models so the app can return the stamp's likely country, year, denomination, and an estimated value. Photos are used to provide that identification result to you.
We do not sell your photos. If you have questions about how a specific scan was handled, contact us at the address below.
Account and subscription data
Stampo offers a paid subscription. Purchases and renewals are handled by the app stores — Apple's App Store and Google Play — under their own terms and payment systems. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; the stores share limited purchase and subscription status so we can unlock premium features and provide support.
If the app lets you save a collection or history, that data is stored to provide the feature to you.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use analytics and crash/diagnostic tools to understand how the app and website are used and to fix problems. This may include app and device information and usage events. This website may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure traffic.
Your choices
- You can stop new scans at any time by not taking further photos.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- You can ask us about the data associated with you, or request deletion, by emailing us.
Children
Stampo is a general-audience reference app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
