These terms apply when you use the Stampo app or this website. By using Stampo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Stampo does
Stampo identifies postage stamps from a photo and shows estimated value ranges, rarity information, and identification guidance. It is a reference and educational tool.
Value estimates are not appraisals
The values Stampo shows are estimated ranges drawn from published catalogs and recorded auction sales. They are highly dependent on condition and can move over time. They are not a professional appraisal, offer, or guarantee of value. Do not buy, sell, or insure a stamp based solely on an estimate from the app — for anything potentially valuable, get it authenticated and appraised by a recognized expert. You use the estimates at your own discretion.
Subscriptions and payment
Stampo offers a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the app stores — Apple's App Store and Google Play — under their terms. Payment is charged to your store account, and subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings; cancelling stops future renewals.
Acceptable use
- Use Stampo for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its identification service.
- Don't rely on the app as your sole basis for a financial decision about a stamp.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app or website. We may also update these terms; when we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above.
Disclaimer and liability
Stampo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the app or reliance on its estimates.
